Due to the unprecedented nature of the Coronavirus Pandemic, and the continuously changing situation, our highest priority must be the health and safety of our family and friends. We have made the decision that all of our Fall group classes will be virtual. This will allow any interested student to participate regardless of their chosen learning structure, in-person or online. Learn more about class offerings below. Due to low enrollment these classes have been delayed. If you are interested in any of our group classes, please contact us directly at INFO@CincinnatiAPA.org.
"Oh, the stories we will tell!" Young Actor's Workshop This is a special experience in confidence building and your child “finding their voice” through acting. Each class will focus on a contemporary children’s book as we explore the character’s journey through their feelings and actions. Our class time will end every week with an interactive physical and vocal retelling of the story as a group. Prior to class beginning, you will receive a curriculum packet with suggestions for how to enjoy and learn from each week’s themes and storybook. This is supplementary to the weekly class experience and not mandatory for participation.
The Diaries of Captain Hook Just like every good story, there is more than one side. Journey to Neverland as we learn and perform the real story of Captain Hook. With our original script and story, we will discuss conflict and building characters as we work toward creating our final virtual performance. This class is appropriate for both students new to theater and those who are experienced.
We are thrilled to be partnering with Clifton Performance Theatre this Fall for our Virtual Group Classes.
