Due to the unprecedented nature of the Coronavirus Pandemic, and the continuously changing situation, our highest priority must be the health and safety of our family and friends. We have made the decision that all of our Fall group classes will be virtual. This will allow any interested student to participate regardless of their chosen learning structure, in-person or online. Learn more about class offerings below. Registration will be open on September 4, 2020. Classes are limited to 10 students, so be sure to register early.
"Oh, the stories we will tell!" Young Actor's Workshop This is a special experience in confidence building and your child “finding their voice” through acting. Each class will focus on a contemporary children’s book as we explore the character’s journey through their feelings and actions. Our class time will end every week with an interactive physical and vocal retelling of the story as a group. Prior to class beginning, you will receive a curriculum packet with suggestions for how to enjoy and learn from each week’s themes and storybook. This is supplementary to the weekly class experience and not mandatory for participation.
Fairytale & Folklore Drama Workshop An interactive storytelling workshop with fairytales and folktales from around the world. During our 6 weeks together, we will explore the history behind some of your favorite fairytales and choose characters and scenes to workshop as we further develop our acting skills. This class is appropriate for both students new to theater and those who are experienced.
