Additionally, Bethany won the Dark Chat Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for Best Performance in a Musical for her rendition of Alice in THE ADDAMS FAMILY; Regional- SISTER ACT (Sister Mary Patrick) in Colorado, BEAUTIFUL (Carole King) and SWING here @ The Carnegie, THE LITTLE MERMAID (Ursula), NARNIA (White Witch), and SANTA CLAUS (Mrs Claus) @ The Children’s Theater, BRIGHT STAR (Alice) @ the Covedale and originated the role of the Matchmaker in THE GIRL WHO at the Edinburgh Fringe. On screen, you may have also seen her on ABC in an episode of What Would You Do? alongside supermodel Ashley Graham and host John Quiñones, in a number of commercials and ads, or has one of the featured dancers in Beachbody’s YOUV2 series. Currently, Bethany is on faculty at NKU in the theater department, having previously been at Xavier, and is also the Director of Theater Arts at CCM Prep. She has a Master’s in Musical Theater from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, a BFA Musical Theater and BFA Acting from Pace University NYC, and is an alum of Interlochen Arts Academy. Xan Waddell Jeffery
Xan, B.M. and M.M., University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) is on faculty at the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) at the University of Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky University and Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts teaching Vocal Technique for Musical Theatre, Musical Theatre Song/Scene and Applied Voice. She also has a very active private voice studio. She has done continuing education courses in Contemporary Commerical Music Techniques, Musical Theatre Styles and Vocal Injury and Wellness at the CCM Vocal Pedagogy Institue at Shenandoah University. Her students have been/are currently see on American Idol, Broadway, numerous National Broadway tours and many of the top BFA Musical Theatre and BM Vocal Music university programs. Xan music directs around the Tri-State area for professional theatre companies, universities and high schools. She has sung with the Cincinnati Fusion Ensemble, Vocal Arts Ensemble and Cincnnati Choral Society. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers Singing (NATS) and Sigma Alpha Iota. Xan is passionate about instilling confidence in her students while developing healthy vocal technique and finding the right repertoire for each one. ChoreographerElizabeth Zerhusen Pille
Elizabeth is thrilled to be choreographing for CAPA this year! She studied various dance styles at the Otto M. Budig Academy of Cincinnati Ballet for eight years, and began choreographing and performing in musical theater productions during high school. Throughout college, she taught at Patty Pille’s School of Dance, performed in college level and community shows, and choreographed for several high school and community theater productions. Elizabeth still performs occasionally and continues to choreograph for various high schools in the area. In addition to her theater work, Elizabeth is a Junior High teacher. She is grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank the team at CAPA for all of their support! Costume DirectorKristie is honored to be back at CAPA collaborating with such a fantastic production team. She has enjoyed working with Carolyn, Amanda and Calloway in creating a wide assortment of costumes. Kristie has been sewing most of her life and has been designing award winning costumes for area theaters for 20 plus years. Some of the shows include Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Ragtime and Chicago to name a few. She is also honored to work with this cast of talented kids as they don their costumes, tell their story and draw you in. When Kristie isn’t designing she is traveling and spending time with her family. Enjoy the show!

Kevin Bell is a native of Baton Rouge, La. After training with the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre and the Joffrey Ballet School. He founded the Miami Valley Ballet Theatre in a northern suburb of Cincinnati where many declared that a ballet company would not survive. It is a thriving regional company which performs to sold out audiences season after season. Kevin has also worked with numerous regional modern choreographers, performing frequently in the annual Area Choreographers Festival hosted by Cincinnati's very own Contemporary Dance Theater. Kevin has performed in musicals such as Anything Goes, the Music Man, Brigadoon, Shrek, and Cincinnati Childrens Theaters production of Peter Pan, Jr. Kevin was principal choreographer for the Cincinnati Music Theater’s production of Billy Elliot. Kevin annually performs the role of Uncle Drosselmeyer in De La Dance Company’s production of The Nutcracker All Jazzed Up. Currently, he is living in Indianapolis and regularly performs with Footlite Musicals. He has performed in The Little Mermaid (King Triton), Hello Dolly (ensemble), Fiddler on the Roof (The Fiddler), and Kinky Boots (Lola). Kevin works with some of the local schools providing arts enrichment programs from ages pre K to High School. Kevin has worked with Cincinnati Academy of Performing Arts for 8 years as a teaching artist for group classes and summer programs.
