Director
Amanda Marasch-Brinkman is a boomerang Cincinnatian with a degree in Musical Theatre. She spent eleven years living in and loving New York City, where she worked in the stage, TV, and film industries. Amanda loves teaching the next generation of artists and humans. Her cup overflows when she can support her students in expressing themselves through the arts.
Some of her TV credits include HBO's Girls, the Dr. Oz Show, and How Do You Write a Joe Scherman Song. She also appeared as an inmate on six seasons of Orange is the New Black. Amanda worked three years as a stand-in on various sets, including Netflix's Seven Seconds for Nadia Alexander, HBO's Girls for Aidy Bryant, and Netflix's OITNB for Kate Mulgrew, Annie Golden, Dale Soules, and Natasha Lyonne. Since returning to the Greater Cincinnati area, Amanda has directed Falsettos and performed in Ragtime (Evelyn Nesbit) at the Aronoff with Cincinnati Music Theatre. She has recently performed locally in The Prom ( Mrs. Greene), Company (Amy) The Last Five Years (Cathy) and Beautiful ( Cynthia Weil). |

Megan Ainsley Schneider performs with many local companies, including The Covedale Center for the Performing Arts, The Carnegie, and The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, among others. Recent performances include Tarzan (Tarzan’s Mother Ensemble), The Secret Garden (Lily), Hair (Sheila), Aladdin Jr. (Jasmine), Company (April), Into the Woods (Little Red Ridinghood), Next to Normal (Natalie), Les Misérables (Cosette), Legally Blonde (Elle Woods), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Narrator), Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel), Hairspray (Amber von Tussle) and Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey). Megan has two degrees in vocal performance from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey. She serves as section leader at Armstrong United Methodist Church. In the school year, she is an assistant teacher at Montessori Center Room.

Additionally, Bethany won the Dark Chat Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for Best Performance in a Musical for her rendition of Alice in THE ADDAMS FAMILY; Regional- SISTER ACT (Sister Mary Patrick) in Colorado, BEAUTIFUL (Carole King) and SWING here @ The Carnegie, THE LITTLE MERMAID (Ursula), NARNIA (White Witch), and SANTA CLAUS (Mrs Claus) @ The Children’s Theater, BRIGHT STAR (Alice) @ the Covedale and originated the role of the Matchmaker in THE GIRL WHO at the Edinburgh Fringe. On screen, you may have also seen her on ABC in an episode of What Would You Do? alongside supermodel Ashley Graham and host John Quiñones, in a number of commercials and ads, or has one of the featured dancers in Beachbody’s YOUV2 series. Currently, Bethany is on faculty at NKU in the theater department, having previously been at Xavier, and is also the Director of Theater Arts at CCM Prep. She has a Master’s in Musical Theater from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, a BFA Musical Theater and BFA Acting from Pace University NYC, and is an alum of Interlochen Arts Academy. Xan Waddell Jeffery
Xan, B.M. and M.M., University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) is on faculty at the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) at the University of Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky University and Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts teaching Vocal Technique for Musical Theatre, Musical Theatre Song/Scene and Applied Voice. She also has a very active private voice studio. She has done continuing education courses in Contemporary Commerical Music Techniques, Musical Theatre Styles and Vocal Injury and Wellness at the CCM Vocal Pedagogy Institue at Shenandoah University. Her students have been/are currently see on American Idol, Broadway, numerous National Broadway tours and many of the top BFA Musical Theatre and BM Vocal Music university programs. Xan music directs around the Tri-State area for professional theatre companies, universities and high schools. She has sung with the Cincinnati Fusion Ensemble, Vocal Arts Ensemble and Cincnnati Choral Society. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers Singing (NATS) and Sigma Alpha Iota. Xan is passionate about instilling confidence in her students while developing healthy vocal technique and finding the right repertoire for each one. |
